Ever seen those 'art lebedev' keyboards with a tiny little screen in each key? Pretty cool, yes, ridiculous effing expensive, oh yes. I can only imagine they're designed for twats with expensive apple macs and desks made of money.
They're not just expensive, they're stupid expensive, so much so that I can't imagine why anyone would ever buy one and how any foolish investors could keep the company afloat.
This concept uses just one screen that in some magical way shines through all the keys. This video is fairly dull, but does eventually show how cool this concept is. Concept, yes, apparently they won't be making these any time soon. Sniff.
Some very nice ideas highlighted in the video. The keyboard is being used at some kind of innovation contest to see what budding little hackers fresh out of their first year can do with it. Hopefully one of them will find a way to sell it to the mass market for a hundred bucks a piece.
